MBA 611: Securing the Organization

Estimated Hours Per Week: 15

Overview

A manager of security policies, procedures, and technology needs to be able to determine and manage the information that is critical to meet the business objectives of the organization. In order to address these needs, a manager must consider the organization as a whole. This includes operational, managerial and technical aspects of the organization, such as policies, procedures, information flow, architecture and many other security aspects. In this course, students will learn about critical organizational information, threats to the organization and the networked systems, and the latest security concerns recognized by the National Security Agency (NSA) and U.S. Homeland Security.
