Mission  

The primary mission of JIU Bookstore Services is to assist in the selection of required materials and ensure their availability to our students and faculty.

Through our partnership with MBS Direct, the official bookstore of JIU, we are committed to providing quality products and services that support students, faculty, and staff in the on-line learning environment. 

We participate in the University’s commitment to support each learner’s success with responsive, caring service, relevant, readily available, and student – centered services for a geographically dispersed adult body by:

• Evaluating materials for availability and cost
• Providing a virtual bookstore that is available 24/7
• Dedicating to enhancing student experience by listening  to our students and adapting to their needs
